Workroom tracking for bridal shops

“Which dress is late?” should not take three phone calls. In SewingERP every dress moves through the workroom stage by stage, the seamstresses update it from their phone, and the shop sees the whole workroom on one screen.

How is a dress tracked?

Each dress gets a job number (for example D-2026-0001) and a list of sewing stages from your own catalog. The default catalog follows a bespoke gown: consultation, measurements, base sewing, embroidery, first fitting, second fitting, corrections, final fitting and delivery. You rename, reorder, skip or add stages per shop and per dress, and give each stage a person, a due date and a status.

How do seamstresses report their work?

You print the dress card with a QR code and it travels with the dress. A seamstress scans it with her phone, picks her name and taps start, update or finish on her stage. There is nothing to install and no login; an optional personal PIN can be turned on. A mistaken tap can be undone.

How do I see what is stuck?

The dashboard has a “What's stuck today” list: dresses past their due date, stages open for three days or more, stages with no one assigned, work at an outside workshop past its return date, and materials that were due to arrive.

What about outside seamstresses and workshops?

Assign a stage to an outside seamstress, embroiderer or factory and a work order is created with what was sent, the return date and the price. Each supplier gets their own portal link: they see only their jobs (model, size, color, garment measurements and your notes), never the bride's name or details, and can accept a job, quote a price and mark it ready for pickup.

Does it show what the work cost?

Yes. The hours of each stage, at the rate of the person who did it at the time, add up to the labor cost of the dress, next to materials, outside work and overhead. The costing guide explains the formula.

Which plans include it?

Dress tracking by stage and QR reporting from the workroom are in every plan, Salon included. Outside workshops and the cost of each dress are in Atelier and Pro.
