SewingERP vs BridalLive

BridalLive is built for selling gowns; SewingERP is built for making and altering them. If your shop is mostly retail, BridalLive has more of what you need. If your shop has its own sewing workroom, SewingERP shows where every dress is and what it cost.

We make SewingERP. Facts about BridalLive come from its own website, read on October 12, 2026: pricing, services, our story, FAQ.

Who should pick which

Pick BridalLive if you run a bridal or formalwear boutique that mainly sells designer and off-the-rack gowns: it has a point of sale built for bridal (off-the-rack, special orders, layaways, returns), tracks special orders until they arrive, emails purchase orders to vendors, processes cards through BridalLive Pay, and has years in the market (its story goes back to a family salon opened in 2003, and it says thousands of shops use it in North America, Australia, Spain and the UK). It also offers an eCommerce product that syncs with it.

Pick SewingERP if gowns are made or heavily altered in your own workroom or by outside seamstresses, and the question you keep asking is “where is this dress and is it late?”. You want a published price with unlimited users and the bride portal included, and you can live without a point of sale. SewingERP is new (launched October 2026).

Questions

What is the main difference between SewingERP and BridalLive?

BridalLive is a long-established retail platform for bridal boutiques, with a point of sale, special orders, purchase orders to vendors and its own card processing. SewingERP is a new system built around the sewing workroom: each dress moves through the shop's own sewing stages, seamstresses report from their phone, and the shop sees what each dress really cost.

How much does BridalLive cost?

As listed on its pricing page in October 2026, BridalLive has four plans (Basic for 3 users, Standard for 10, Standard Plus and Elite with unlimited users) and does not publish their prices; you contact them. It does publish add-ons: Client Portal $110 a month for the first location, Tuxedo Rentals $99, Reputation Management $119 and API access $50 per location.

How much does SewingERP cost?

Salon $79, Atelier $149 and Pro $249 a month in US dollars before tax, with unlimited users on every plan and no setup fee. The bride portal, online booking and e-signatures are included in every plan. SewingERP opened to new shops in October 2026: sign up and start the 14-day free trial, no credit card.

Can SewingERP replace BridalLive's point of sale?

No. SewingERP records deposits, payments and balances but does not process cards, has no point of sale and no layaway flow. A boutique that relies on those should look at BridalLive or another retail system.
